Sportlinx360 was born from the personal experience of Jesica Umansky, a former student-athlete for women's volleyball at George Mason University from 2001 until 2006. Jesica received a full athletic scholarship and lead the Patriots to 2 CAA Championships and NCAA appearances (2002-2003 and 2003-2004). She graduated with honors in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering. She also served as a student-assistant coach at GMU in the 2005-2006 season where she learned the intricacies of college recruiting and the world of collegiate athletics. Jesica has also played volleyball in some of the best leagues in the world: in Brazil, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. In 2011 she served as an assistant coach for the Peruvian Volleyball Women's National Team, participating to important competitions such as Southamerican Cup and the World Grand Prix. Finally in 2009 she moved to Rome where she earned a Masters degree in Economics and Sports Management from Il Sole 24 ore Business School in Rome, her current city of residence.
Elitza Krasteva joined Sportlinx360 in 2013 after more than 20 years of playing volleyball and 10 years playing as a professional volleyball player all around Italy. Elitza graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Languages and International Communication from Roma Tre University and obtained her Master’s degree in Modern Languages for International Communication also from Roma Tre University in 2012. Elitza is also a translator for Spanish, Bulgarian, English and Italian. She was born in Sofia (Bulgaria) and was raised in Rome, Italy where she lives nowadays while she still plays volleyball.
Damiano Ferlito, born and raised in Rome (Italy), joined the Sportlinx360 team in 2017. His background on sports starts very early collaborating with an important organization that promotes sport, CSAIN, where his main activities were organizing tournaments and sports events. He has been around volleyball for more than 15 years, first as a player and then as a coach and manager. Damiano holds a Masters Degree in Web & Social Media Marketing from La Sapienza University of Rome.
Our Soccer Coordinator comes from a very extensive college soccer background. As a former Head Soccer Coach, Scout and Recruiter for over 30 years at the collegiate /university level in the USA, Coach Donev will serve as the bridge between our soccer prospective student-athletes and the colleges/universities during the recruiting process in order to place them within programs that fit their profiles athletically and academically. During his coaching career, Coach Kos has recruited players from around the globe which gives him the know-how of the entire recruiting process from the coaches perspective. The network of coaches he has developed throughout his coaching careers in the USA college system will give our prospects a huge advantage over any other network. While the Head Coach at Florida Atlantic University, he has witnessed and been an integral part of the move from NAIA to NCAA Division II and NCAA Division I, the addition of women's soccer, the construction of five on-campus lighted soccer fields, and the transition from four conference realignments. He has coached in the following conferences during his career. The Atlantic Sun Conference, The Atlantic Soccer Conference, Mid-America Conference (MAC) and Conference-USA.
Caterina Cigarini is a 4-time NAIA Volleyball All-American and Bachelor of Science graduate specialized in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis (USA). These opportunities were made possible with the assistance of Sportlinx360 recruiting. Among the most important recognitions she earned from MBU we can consider: All-Region, All-Conference, 2-time CoSIDA Academic All-District, 2016 Conference and Regional Freshman of the Year, 2018 Conference Defender Player of the Year, and 2019 Conference and Regional Player of the Year. Caterina has been a staff member of the American College Volleyball Showcase since the first edition in 2017 and officially entered the Sportlinx360 family in 2020 after graduation. Before leaving for America, she studied foreign languages in high school and can fluently speak Italian, English, Spanish and French. Caterina currently plays volleyball in Italy.
