New departures for Sportlinx360 for Spring 2021.

Actually, two athletes have already landed in the States a few weeks ago. We are talking about Ruxandra Flueras who is already training with the women's volleyball team of Colby Community College, Kansas, ahead of the official start of the new NJCAA season.

The city of Chicago welcomed the other student-athlete who started her journey in America, Liza Garrido at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). Liza, from Argentina, will play with the women's volleyball team in the NCAA Division I. The University of Illinois at Chicago is the largest University in the city, including the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has approximately 26,000 students. UIC teams are named UIC Flames from the great fire that hit the city of Chicago in 1871.

Instead, Daniel Cogo and Linda Mungai just started their adventure.

Daniel went to Midway University, Kentucky. He has just joined the men's volleyball team that will compete in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics). The Eagles team is lead by coach Jonea Rima, in her second season as head coach of the men's volleyball team. The official debut is scheduled for February 5th against Lincoln College.

Linda Mungai, on the other hand, recently arrived at Xavier University of Louisiana where she found Coach Pat Kendrick, a friend and professional linked to Sportlinx360, at the help of the volleyball team, who directed all editions of our Showcases. Linda will also reinforce the "Italian" department of the Gold Nuggets by joining Emanuela Riglioni (who left last summer) and Angela Egonu (Paola's sister).

A big good luck from all the Sportlinx360 staff!
